Fishing Technical Waters Workshop

With Clay Hash of Fly Fishing Traditions

There will be a Fishing Technical Waters Workshop on Sunday, October 16th where Clay Hash of Fly Fishing Traditions will share his knowledge of fishing tailwater fisheries like the Lower Yuba River. He will review the importance of learning about the bugs you will find and then matching them with specific fly patterns. He will address tactics for fishing technical waters including positioning for making presentations and how to rig properly. Fly casting is very important when presenting flies and there will be fly casting opportunities to practice and improve your skills. Bring your favorite dry fly presentation outfit. Most of all learning to become a “trout hunter” where you treat your prey as skilled adversaries.
