California Trout (Cal trout) 

Ensuring healthy waters and resilient wild fish for a better California through restoring landscapes through good science, and building coalitions.  Their goal is to restore vibrance and abundance to California's freshwater ecosystems, and to keep them that way for years to come. They just celebrated their 50th anniversary with a big gathering at the Golden Gate Angling and Casting club, a NCCFFI affiliated club in San Francisco.  They are truly our partner in restoration efforts in many watersheds in California.  Without the work of Cal Trout, we’d be years behind on many levels.  They are leaders in salmon rearing in valley rice fields before they make their way to the Bay-Delta estuary.  They are a group to be proud of.
